2 tsp. Bertolli® Classico™ Olive Oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. fennel seed (optional)
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 lb. ground beef or ground meat loaf mix
1 jar Bertolli® Tomato & Basil Sauce
8 ounces rotini pasta, cooked and drained

  • Heat Olive Oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook onion and fennel seed, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up with spoon, 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in Sauce. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 5 minutes. Serve over hot rotini.
