Before studying at The New England Culinary Institute, Sarah's culinary skills were mentored at an early age by two of her friends' mothers. One was from southern France and the other was from Mexico, but both were adept at making traditional recipes from scratch. Sarah spent hours in the kitchen with them, learning all she could.
Sarah's cooking is guided by her intuition and she loves the creativity that developing recipes affords her. But her true reward is showing others how easy it is to create delicious, authentic meals at home. In her words, "Good food and the enjoyment of eating is such a rich part of life. I love that I'm able to help people have this experience at home."
Cooking was actually a second career choice for Sarah. After becoming dissatisfied with film and TV production, she looked inward and discovered this was her true calling. "Cooking is a constant in my life that nurtures and relaxes me and gives me great joy! I think that if a person can make a career out of something they love so much, they're very lucky indeed, and I really feel that way!"
